Access4ALL

Advancing disability inclusion in higher education

Established in 2021, Access4ALL funded by the First Rand Foundation addresses gaps in institutional support for students with disabilities, as identified in the 2018 Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) Disability Framework. The initiative has completed a national situational analysis of 23 universities, onboarded four institutions for targeted support and developed training modules ranging from disability advocacy to universal design.
